We’ve cobbled together some of our favourite ways people have utilised our custom stamps to show you the range of creative uses there are for custom stamps. So without further ado and in no particular order here we go!

We thought we’d start off with a couple of examples of our custom stamps being used on a darker background. A fairly simple method that we think sometimes gets forgotten, a lighter colour on a dark background can really pop. When pairing one of our Golden Glitz or Silver Shimmer ink pads with a clean design you can add a touch of class to your products.

Staying with the theme of using colour to make yourself stand out, we’re going for a design where we really like the use of a couple of colours on the same stamp. Using one or more colours on a stamp is a really good way of making your design stand out a little more. Just remember to grab some stamp cleaner as well so that you can clean your stamp without damaging it and have the chance to change up the colours if you want.

Next we wanted to highlight this one by Cartoonist Glenn Marshall. Not only do we love his work and think this is one of our favourite designs, but it also shows that with the right design, stamps can look hand drawn and even a little more personal. We have also received a few designs drawn by children for a parents birthday or thank you card and think that some of the designs that are a little more rough around the edges are some of the most heartwarming.

The next one up is an order we’ve received a few of recently and it’s called a Croquis. It’s the method of using a pre-made template to sketch over and is often used by fashion designers. It’s a great way of creating multiple ideas for the same thing and if we’re honest, something we hadn’t thought of!

Another use for our stamps that we hadn’t thought of is with clay. Using the stamp to leave an impression of your name or logo in wet clay before blasting is a great way to mark your pots or plates. Plus it means you don’t have to purchase an ink pad, but don’t tell our accountant 😉

Most of the stamps we sell are people’s logos for their business and it’s a great idea to save some money; instead of buying a large amount of branded packaging you just buy blank stock and a stamp that will last for tens of thousands of impressions and do it yourself. Leaving you free to change the colour or the packaging style whenever you like. One idea that we think flies under the radar a little though is using our stamps on fabrics using a versacraft ink pad, once you have ironed on the impression it will last through the wash and is suitable with anything from cotton to the underside of leather once again saving you costly printing costs!

An honourable mention goes to this furry little critter. Just because cats deserve to dress up fancy sometimes too!
